Real People, Real Stories

Our pride and joy is the results
we see in our teammates!

In 2011 with over 300 races
they achieved a 92% PR rate.

I want to give a HUGE "Thank you!" to Coaches Diane and Jeff for all they do to help us as individual athletes and collectively as a team. I really appreciate the great weekly podcasts, even if I can't catch them "live" every time (I just got caught up during plane rides this week). And team, if you haven't watched Jeff's videos on improving your form and Diane's workout vids, you are truly not getting as much value out of your coaching fee as you could. And you are missing a chance to become a better athlete.

Finally, thanks Coaches for the great partnerships you have established and continue to build with other vendors. Those add a tremendous amount of value and expertise to our team.

No, this is NOT a paid endorsement! I'm just a happy runner/triathlete.

Dave P. (Chicago)

”I have been extremely happy with PRSFit; I trained with Carmichael Training and Training Goals in the past, both highly reputable, but never felt satisfied or ‘liked’ it the way I have liked having a PRSFit plan with the social media elements. You all run a great program!”

Molly S. (Colorado) Triathlete

”Accountability, motivation, expertise, friendship and accessibility – many Coaches provide some, but not all of the previous qualities. I can honestly say that Jeff and Diane have perfected the coach-athlete relationship and have made their brand available to athletes of all skill levels.

When I arrived at PRSFit a few months ago I was welcomed with open arms and immediate motivation to achieve my stated short and long term goals. The training plan is laid out in an easy to use format, and you can communicate with the coaches as much or as little as you feel is necessary.

My first success story with PRSFit was a 50 Mile race at the end of May 2011 where Coach Jeff only had a couple of months to prepare me for the event. I did have a decent base level of fitness and was in some sort of marathon shape, but Jeff took this to a whole different level based on my desire to finish in under 10 hours.

The work was hard, the training was exceedingly difficult, but the result was a 9:35 on a day where wet conditions drastically slowed the field. I was so well prepared for this race that I felt I had left many minutes out on the course, waiting for the slowdown that never happened. There is no doubt in my mind that I never could have prepared myself for these successes without the help of not only the coaches at PRSFit, but also the motivation of my fellow teammates.

Many thanks to Coach Jeff and Diane for the great job they do, and I look forward to achieving that next goal together!”

”I saw my ortho last Friday. He was not concerned about the pain/swelling I have been having, said it was normal with return to more impact activities. Said I should get in the pool when this happens and return running when no pain. He also reminded me it takes 9 to 12 months to recover from the surgery I had and it has been only 6 months. He complemented you two on rehabing me—said I have made amazing recovery with your help. Apparently many people have long term issues without proper rehab. I thank you very much!!!! So excited about future plan!!!”

“Coach Jeff, Coach Diane and the rest of their team would be my only recommendation for coaching, no matter what you are training for. The service they provide is second to none. They are all extremely approachable, and willing to go above and beyond for you. All of this translates into a great personal training and coaching service.”

Richard G. (Atlanta) Duathlete

”Jeff and Diane have been my running coaches for over a year. They have an incredible wealth of knowledge regarding endurance sports. They are true experts and are able to significantly help all of their athletes improve. They helped me achieve one of my life goals of qualifying for the Boston Marathon. I couldn’t have done it without them.

In addition to their expertise, they are amazingly available to all of their athletes. They will drop everything to talk to you. I honestly believe Jeff and Diane are two of the best endurance athlete coaches in the country.”

Chris K. (California) Runner

”I have worked with Jeff for over a year now and cannot say enough about him. His expertise has completely changed my outlook on training. The results I have seen have been incredible. But the best part of working with him has been his ability to push me to perform better than I ever thought I could. PRSFit is a true treasure in the fitness community.”

Ann B. (Baltimore) Runner

”I've only been working with PRS FIT for a few short weeks, but I can already tell a big difference in my running ability in that short time. Jeff is extremely knowledgeable, and dedicated to all of the people he works with. He is always available to chat, and is committed to helping people meet their own potential. I can't recommend working with PRS FIT enough.”

Bonnie G. (Atlanta) Runner

”PRS FIT takes fresh approach to online training with a skilled use of technology to make it as personable as possible while being located a thousand miles away. He is an excellent listener & provides the highest level of service for his athletes. He promotes a great team atmosphere with all of his clients. I highly recommend PRS FIT as endurance sport coaches.”

Chance B. Ironman Triathlete

”Since I hired PRS FIT as a coaches in April 2010, I have seen amazing results. They have guided me to 2 top ten age group finishes in local triathlons last year. And these were my first 2 triathlons I had ever raced. Since then, with their coaching, I now run faster than I did in High School over 20 years ago! My cycling is also stronger than it's ever been. I'm now preparing for a busy racing season and feel confident about my upcoming events because they have me prepared and guided me so well along the way.”

Brian T. (Coloroda) Triathlete

”I am a 39 year old man from Georgia. I returned from a cruise on October 31, 2010. On the cruise, I had decided that I was a large man. I was six feet tall and weighed 240 pounds. After some consideration on the best way to lose the weight, I decided to start running. On November 1 of the same year, I ran/walked my first mile at a miserable 16 minute pace. I entered a few races, mostly 5K and 10K and seemed to like the race atmosphere and enjoyed the camaraderie of the runners. I entered my first half marathon race in February of 2011 and completed it in 2:29. I didn’t think it was bad for my first one.

I registered for my second half marathon which was exactly two months after my first one. It was in the mountains of Tennessee. For a month after my first, I trained on my own. I had hit a wall. I could not improve. In fact, now that I have a little more knowledge, I believe that I overtrained and my performance suffered. I had heard about PRS Fit on the Geeks in Running Shoes podcast. I called Coach Jeff and he developed a plan for me.

One month of heart rate training under Coach Jeff drove me crazy. All this “zone 2 crap” I would think as I moved at a snail’s pace around the streets of Georgia. By the time the race in Tennessee had come, I had lost faith in my coach, in my training, and in my ability to run. I decided I would do my best at the race. I was so discouraged that I didn’t really keep up with my running data on my Garmin. I just ran. After I finished the race, I downloaded the data. I HAD CUT 21 MINUTES OFF MY PREVIOUS TIME!! I was amazed!

I have continued to train with PRS Fit. I have registered for my first full marathon in Savannah Georgia a year and four days after I ran my first training run. The coaches at PRS Fit think that a 4 hour completion is very reasonable. I’m very excited about the possibility!

By the way, I have also lost 56 pounds since I started running. It’s amazing to me that my first goal was to lose the weight. I had told myself that running would be nothing but a method though which I would lose weight. However, thanks to PRS Fit and some hard work, it has become a new lifestyle for me where the sky is the limit.”

Thank you Coaches Jeff and Diane!
